THE RULES OF GOLF EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1st, 2019 AND THE INTERPRETATIONS ON THE RULES OF GOLF, 2019 AS APPROVED BY THE R & A RULES LIMITED AND THE UNITED STATES GOLF ASSOCIATION WILL APPLY. LOCAL RULES CONSISTENT WITH THE POLICY SET FORTH UNDER COMMITTEE PROCEDURES OF THE RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS.

BOUNDARIES

The boundaries of the course are defined as follows:

- White stakes RHS of 3rd,12th & 15th fairway
- Inside wall bordering the drain (nullah) RHS of 11th fairway, beginning from behind the 14th green, including the slab.
- Course area beyond the public road between 15th & 16th holes.


OUT OF BOUNDS

Beyond any wall, fence or white stakes defining the boundary of the course.

Note:

- When defined by stakes or a fence, the boundary edge is defined by the line between the course-side points of the stakes or fence posts at ground level (excluding angled supports), and those stakes or fence posts are out of bounds. A ball is out of bounds when all of it lies on or over such line.
- When defined by a painted line on the ground, the boundary edge is the course-side edge of the line, and the line itself is out of bounds.


ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (INCLUDING IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS) (RULE 16.1)

All teeing ground boards, sprinkler tapping points, yardage markers, paved artificial surfaces and other man-made objects not defined as integral to the course, walls of wells, covered wells on Holes 7,10 & 13. In addition, the following Rules apply:

A) Ground under repair treated as part of nearby Obstruction.

(i) Model Local Rule F-3.1
- White-lined areas of ground under repair and the identified obstruction they tie into, are treated as a single abnormal course condition when taking relief under Rule 16.1..

B) Extensive Damage Due to Heavy Vehicles

Model Local Rule F-4 is modified as follows:

Ground under repair includes areas of unusual damage such as ruts caused by tractors.

C) Immovable Obstructions Close to the Putting Green

Model Local Rule F-5

"Relief from interference by an immovable obstruction may be taken under Rule 16.1.

The player also has these extra options to take relief when such immovable obstructions are close to the putting green and on the line of play:

Ball in General Area. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b if an immovable obstruction is:

- On the line of play, and is:
- Within two club-lengths of the putting green, and
- Within two club-lengths of the ball.

Exception - No Relief If Line of Play Clearly Unreasonable. There is no relief under this Local Rule if the player chooses a line of play that is clearly unreasonable.

D) Prohibiting Relief from Abnormal Ground Conditions when only Stance Interference Exists

Model Local Rule F-6

Rule 16.1 is modified in this way: Interference does not exist if a hole, cast or runway made by a burrowing animal, a reptile or a bird, Fire or bull ant mounds, nests or beds only interferes with the player's stance.

E) Damage by Dogs

Model Local Rule F-10 is modified as follows:

In the General Area & bunkers , areas of damage caused by dogs are treated as ground under repair from which relief is allowed under Rule 16.1b [But interference does not exist if the damage only interferes with the player's stance.]

F) Protection of Young Trees

Model Local Rule E-10 –

The young trees identified by white stakes are no play zones: If a player's ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player's stance or area of intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1f. If the ball lies in a penalty area, and interference to the player's stance or area of intended swing exists from such a tree, the player must take relief either with penalty under Rule 17.1e or with free relief under Rule 17.1e(2).

PENALTY AREAS (RULE 17)

Penalty areas are defined as either red or yellow.

Yellow penalty areas (marked with yellow lines or yellow stakes) give the player two relief options (Rules 17.1d(1) and (2)).

Red penalty areas (marked with red lines or red stakes) give the player an extra lateral relief option (Rule 17.1d(3)), in addition to the two relief options available for yellow penalty areas.

If the colour of a penalty area has not been marked or indicated, it is treated as a red penalty area.

A) Dropping Zone

Model Local Rule E-1.1 applies for penalty area on Hole # 11.

As an extra option drop the original ball or another ball in the dropping zone defined by white lines located near the Red Tees The dropping zone is a relief area under Rule 14.3


BALL DEFLECTED BY POWER LINE

Model Local Rule E-11

If it is known or virtually certain that a player's ball hit a power line or tower or a wire or pole supporting a power line during the play of a hole, the stroke does not count. The player must play a ball without penalty from where the previous stroke was made.

ON COURSE UNITS USED FOR LIGHTING & PUBLIC LIGHT POLES

If a ball strikes an on-course lighting unit or public light pole, the ball must be played as it lies. If the ball is lost or out of bounds, Rule 18 applies.
